0900: Rise of the tariff upper limits for 0900 service numbers

Service number - Berlin, 02. March 2007 - With 24 February 2007 a new regulation comes into force within the telecommunications law (TKG), offerers made possible by increase in value services at the telephone the rise of the tariffs to 0900 service numbers up to three euro per discussion minute. At the same time the consumer protection is strengthened, as amending plans strict editions for the avoidance of superelevated connecting costs. Each offerer, e.g. a Beratungshotline over a 0900-Mehrwertnummer, has free of charge to inform the caller before beginning of a consulting discussion about the resulting fees. Beyond that Hotline operators for a connection to a 0900-Nummer may not compute overall any more than 30 euro. A discussion to 0900 a service number may not exceed the duration of 60 minutes, therefore the change of telecommunications law plans a forcing running after one hour.
