www.geniesserclub.com - to 28.02.2007 was it again so far: The restaurant Hopping of the GeniesserClubs had this time American kitchen/steak to the topic and took place in the quite young Steakhouse The Bird , which one finds hidden in the Prenzlauer mountain at the Falkplatz 5.
Two young Americans, Gregg and Jon has it from New York to Berlin strike.
Gregg is the man, who is responsible for the uniquely good steaks, which one serves here gets and Jon kredenzt with best service in addition beer, wine and liquor of all kinds with frsorglicher Gastlichkeit.
The evaluation of the Geniesserclubs failed accordingly: The note lies between good and very well. Which can be said without varnishing: There is here the best steak of Berlin and each Geniesser, which frnt gladly the meat desire, around this only 9 months and 3 days young restaurants will not come around.
The mechanism is suitably rustikal and cosy, from the loudspeakers sounds to skirt music, the red brick walls provides for a comfortable Ambiente.
Here everything is freshly prepared: of it the executive committee and the guests of the GeniesserClubs could convince themselves as one them communicated that the meat supply still at the tariff stayed and one must taking therefore this time another sort than usually - excellently was it nevertheless. From meals from doses or plastic bags the two New Yorker ones do not hold for anything: The Pommes Frittes is made of Dutch potatoes, the Burger is freshly not only an eye pasture, but also a pure palate joy in a size, one must learn which to handlen only once.
